Some Days

Some days
I feel like I'm going around in circles
~~~~
Chasing my tail
To no avail
Licking my wounds
Searching for pity
On the verge of a little fitty
Some days
I don’t know why I try
~~~~
I should have stayed in bed
And covered up my head
And waited for the clock
On the wall
To tell me a new day had come to call
Some days
You wake up to rain
~~~~
Why do these days come around?
Pushing my face into the ground
Always punishing
Playing havoc with my emotions
Second guessing my every motion
