WINNIE'S BACK!
As you may recall, Winnie liked to drink a bit
She zigged when she should have zagged,
and a tree she hit!
I thought she was lodged in the tree for a lifetime.
'Twas a good lesson for all of us when we get "high!"
Don't drink, climb on a broomstick and fly!
But Winnie is back--this I know for a certainty
Drunk as a Skunk the saying goes and
faster than a Frisbee!
From the corner of my eye her hat I saw all pointy.
I dunked automatically as she swerved,
shes always tipsy!
I yelled, "Winnie, Winnie, won't you ever learn dear!!!!
Booze and brooms don't mix you silly witch, is that clear?"
I saw her fly over the refinery through it's fire flame,
Her poor old cat hanging on for his 9th life of fame....
And then.....
The strangest thing happened I couldn't believe my eyes.....
She shifted her broom in high, and headed for the sky
Yelling "Up Broom, Up Hat, Up you dirty ole rat!"
"I'll see you all next year on this same day,
Here's to you all......a Happy Witch's Goodbye!!!"
I saw her old cat stand on all fours and shriek
"She's so drunk she thinks she's Santa Claus,
and I'm not a rat, I'm a cat!"
"May your pumpkins be this big, and your
pies this plentiful!"
