I Remember You

Contributed by Evening_Star on Monday, 31st October 2005 @ 03:14:14 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

To remember the past
It brings back such bittersweet memories
In a short time I realized
What I missed most about you
I can still remember the playful tone in your voice
When you would make fun of me
I remember
The way you held me in your arms
The way your lips touched mine
And feeling the passion between us
I remember the look in your eyes
When I caught you looking at me
That showed me how much you cared
Now I sit here today
Wishing I still had you to hold
And hoping that someday
We would find ourselves
Back in each others arms
To once again feel the passion
Electrified between us
Even though we are worlds apart
I still remember you
I will always remember you

Oh...thanks, I do remember...those are so much a part of human experience...BITTERSWEET...what a word...like touching dry ice with your right hand and putting the other in the fire...

...it's ironic, finding myself saying I enjoyed it when it leaves just as much ache as it does joy...

...humans...what strange creatures we are...
