I keeping thinking you the way I don't want to:
You- sweet, kind, loving.
You touch and my please.
I want to think you the way I want to:
Voice sharp, nails and teeth.
I want but you need.
Do you think me the way I want:
Warm... supportive, strong.
You need what I have.
You think me:
Absent, chilled, unaware.
No love, no power.
Craving, needing, time... times.
watching, waiting, patient, mind... minds
Did I feel? You lust? I say?
Was it not enough?
I wish people thought us the way we want:
Friends, still there.
Tragedies... hopeful.
We are us:
Distant and non-interactive.
Avoid-ish, never again.
But I still think you:
Tears and kisses... hands and tender.
Eyes and lips, hips... hearts.
Whispers and breath... even when I don't want to.
