The Jackal

Contributed by gwenevere on Sunday, 30th October 2005 @ 05:12:46 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I am here to guard the tomb of my old master wise
Waiting now to guide his soul and aid him as he flies
To the land of afterlife, where he will reign again
Free from all anxiety, yes free from sadness, pain

There he'll meet his subjects, faithfull one and all
Listening and waiting, for their masters call
Osiris is my master, I his Anubis
Watching ever faithful, after deaths full kiss

Never to disturb him, leave him at his peace
Listen in the moonlight, howls I will release
You will hear me calling, telling all who hear
Jackal and my Pharoah, disturb and you will fear

Wonderful!

Nice peice of darkness here Ros, as masterful as your other side and just as
prevalent, dangeriously suspensful and as always, well crafted . . .
