Each acoustic melody's
A flame that flickers past
And you're inside to break me all again
I sink into your drowning pool
Allow myself to weep
Revel lost and lonely, cold and dreaming
Waiting to be rescued
Anyone will do now you can't find me
Pass me off to anything that's real
As I stand spinning through a blur, you're still so clear
I'm only fear
Memories of camp fire, flames of passion growing sweet
In harmony with songs so never-ending
I can't play guitar but I know
All the lyrics twice and my whole
Soul cries out amidst my voice and heart
My eyes are drowning
My being's so reluctant to submit complacency
Waiting to be rescued
Anyone will do now you can't find me
Pass me off to anything that's real
As I stand spinning through a blur, you're still so clear
I'm only fear
As I stand spinning through a blur, you're still so clear

What I love about this is it's simple sentiments toward the person it's dedicated to.
Simple words mean a whole lot more than a big constructed poem without depth and meaning to it. You've done (I say) incredibly well in this piece. It shows growth, heart and love.
Cheer up Chels; they always do come crawling back.

This was beautiful, breath-takingly beautiful. Would that they could be words of joy, and not sorrow.
Take care, my friend.
David
