In every panel a face
In every sound a voice
These phantasms become
This illusion transfers
All trauma
Every sensation
The impulse of fear
The tragedy of thought
Locked within, echoing outward
The pulsating nausea of dread
We are victims unto ourselves
Unwilling vessels of fear
Nobody knows the terror
The worst enemy within
Each shadow has a name
Every dream has it’s end
All life must die
And within we die each day
Succumb to fear
Surrender to ignorance
Become the lesser incarnation
This is the weakness we gain from sight
These are the horrors granted by knowledge
With each day, every passing year
We stare deeper within
Comprehending the darkness that much more
