Come closer so I can see the light reflecting
in your iris and have it make an imprint on my soul
Let me kiss your lips until I can feel our hearts melt into one
Take my hand in yours so your touch can heal the wounds that are inside of me
Hold my hopes and show me that I can once again let someone over the wall
Please tell me I'm worth it-that all my tears have just been obstacles to overcome so I may allow you to love me like I know you can

succint but sublime - a really lovely poem
