We see in mirrors
What we look like.
We see in others
What we are like.
One, a reflection
Of how others view us.
The other; a reflection
Of how we view ourselves.
We stare into mirrors
Check our mouth, nose and eyes;
We see how we look
To check and adjust our disguise.
We watch other people
Wonder how they think, move and act,
About their strengths and weaknesses
And ponder what they need…maybe tact?
Some look
But never see
Some see
But never believe.
Others are:
What we were
What we are now
What we hope to be.

This was pretty good, and I like the style you wrote this in. The on/off rhyming could've been improved here and there, for instance; where you rhymed a word with itself...It still flowed along well though, and of course, the subject is something that people will never grow tired of. Ourselves, and our silly disguises, forever concealing our true self, and needs. Nice job.
