She walks along the street
so tall, yet so shy
She hangs her head down low
as if she were ashamed
behind her long hair, she hides
So polite, yet so shy
She will always smile
she will always laugh
but she will never look you in the eye
Some say she is beautiful
but her face is seen by so few
Some say she is just average
But I don't know, do you?
She covers her legs in a long skirt
and her top is almost chin-high
She hides behind a mask of make-up
and behind her hair, but why?
What made her this way?
What made her hide?
So withdrawn, and so damn shy!
