The Shivers

Contributed by mangos on Thursday, 27th October 2005 @ 09:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Call it what you will
You will anyway
Spin it to your liking
Or leave it to your devices
Trusting and indecisive
Thriving on being spontaneous
It’s a rush
It’s the push who comes to shove
Like the bush
Burning on the mountain of love
Yet not consumed
Forever to preclude
The fire from the food
Raw
The instant saw
You run and hide
And now Im doomed
And bound under the law
Of nature and torture
Common ground
And early foreclosure

You see me when you close your eyes
I know you do
I feel you think of me
Its actually
Quite eerie
Spooky
A ghost appears in back of me
The shivers pierce the side of me
And they deliver
The morphine
Cut, dry, and clean
Wipe that smile off your eye
And take what you came to see
Indulge in a prophecy
Fulfilled into a reality
Until the sodomy
And the market economy
Shift to a dichotomy
And this tainted religiosity
Laced with pureness
Paradoxically
Its their claim to fulfillment
These shivers thrive inside of me

Well now sir, who do you see when YOU close your eyes? Not to be presumptuous, but this sounds like a sure thing, with such a spiritual connection, but perhaps you are unsure? Whatever the case may be, you seem sincere in your thoughts, albeit confused, but sincere :D
Blessings to the both of you! May love fill your heart.

when you have 2 paralell universes struggling
for dominance and control, neither side wins
and probably neither really exist ...

a shivering thought in anticipation ...
but of what? ...

interesting ideas well written to provoke
some thinking

Maybe you just need a sweater...lol : )
Sounds like quite the feeling, and quite the connection. Another good write.
