the rose

Contributed by aprilrose on Thursday, 27th October 2005 @ 06:40:39 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The rose with so much grace a symbol of love, romance, death.

The pain the pleasure the symbol of just one flower.

The romance fills the room with just its petals.

New love begins, old life ends the beginning and end fill this place with a single long stem.

The rose of the earth the beauty of love so strong so heard the emotions that fly with soft spoken words.

A flower so symbolic so emotional so peacful it is natures beauty, a beauty so devine.

A poem of sadness poems of love darkness passion every emotion comes undone

Like the rose in many different ways they both symbolize the same.

I really like the way you structured and executed this poem. The flow of every word intertwines itself with the following and creates a certain unity in the poem. You also chose your words carefully, and this shows in the finished product. Keep on experimenting with new methods and ideas.

This is my kinda poetry

A very well constructed piece of poetry you have presented us with Kelly. The rose is my favourite flower, so delicate even with it's thorns.
Well done on such a remarkable well written poem. Keep penning .
*hugs*

This is a very good poem, but I will not critique it, (personally I hate when people tell me I should change something in my writing, I write for myself not for others) But yes a very nice poem.
