Stamp me at birth
Conform me in youth
Send me to work
and feed me your truth
A cog in the wheel
or a death in the streets
I am the battery
to feed your disease
To old to work ,
they lock you away
assisted living ,
euthanism for prison
and when you die
five grand for a grave
sweet little grandkids
will take your place
A new battery to fuel the system
so a corporate billionaire
can have a golf course in his backyard.
Someone set me on fire so I can
burn away this plastic in my head.
Welcome to the plastic world.
Welcome to Civil-lie-zation

I liked the first stanza a lot. It was very deep, as the poem is overall.

This would make a really good rock song, use the first stanza as a chorus. I like it. So far I like your style, feel special I like very few, lol. |

I feel what you're saying,
and I think you say it well.
Great, seriously-
