Dorm Room Logic

Contributed by nosoup4crr on Monday, 24th October 2005 @ 01:37:16 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

From a saturated sleep I awoke this morn,
and waddled to the shower.
My alarm clock, the subject of hatred and scorn,
no friendlier to minute or hour.

I cradled myself there, on those cold porcelyn tiles,
to the ground, a fixated stare.
And on my soap, something festering and vile,
a foreign pubic hair.

It lay cozy and deep, this singular follicle,
an unwelcome guest—so rude
And then I thought it seemed somewhat illogical
a second thought was spent on this pube.

For the world is made up of universal truths,
rules by which we live.
If soap could be dirty, it would never be used,
Because if soap is not clean, than what is?

Lol, I wondered about the soap thing myself.

Cute poem you have there. :-)
