The red red rose with petals tight
Glimmering in a noon days light
Sweet memories it will excite
Offering me a small respite
Through Summers days it too will share
Its breath of Spring held in the air
That rose I smell in passing by
And sounds of Heavens Angels high
The footprints left upon my heart
Your special notes to me impart
The visions of your loveliness
The dreams I have of your caress
These things I ponder every day
These things my love I can't betray
That Red Red Rose I speak hereof
It is This Rose that proves my love
