I don't want to forget how your voice sounds..

Contributed by lollypopxcore on Sunday, 23rd October 2005 @ 08:36:20 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I thought about you all night
only six hours in the spotlight
...and I still need you
Is that alright?
Our tickle fights were always fun
but then all your words just came undone
you kissed me the best
as I tickled your chest
we talked non stop
I guess It needed a rest.
You tell me that it's over
nothing else can happen
she is your everything
she is your obsession.
I was half then you made me whole
first time we hung out
you lost self-control
you had a girlfriend
so we were just pretend
you told me you messed up
and now we're just friends.
Don't make me forget the sound of your voice
and what we did was half your choice.
And you can never understand
how it felt to hold your hand
don't punish yourself...
it wasn't planned.
I loved how you held me
...but now we're saying sorry.
What if this happened before
could we have been more...
or would my heart still be tore?

Your poem reminds me of my write, "A Private World", check it out...mine is of wishing, dreaming, for the one to come to me, seasonal love, I should like you to contrast yours to mine, see the difference, message me, perhaps we are friends, lovely poem here, and I thank you for the skills of a useful heart...

Liked it much...

Timing always is a funny thing in relationships, especially if it doesn't work out. You are always left wondering what if it happened at another time.

Good stuff.
