God Took Her Away
Seeing the tears,
I know why she is crying.
Its what everyone fears,
Because she is dying.
I don’t know what to do,
She knew all along.
I didn’t have a clue,
Her heart no longer strong.
I pray for her at night,
Hoping she’s ok.
This all gave me a fright.
Please don’t take her away.
She felt so cold,
Not moving even a bit.
My love was sold,
As she started to have a fit.
Why god why,
Just let her live.
Don’t make her die,
Forget her sins and forgive.
I felt so sad,
As I stood there.
Inside I was mad,
No one seemed to care.

and then... my mother got sick, she threw the biggest thankgiving feast for all... its only the flu... november... easter came, I love you mother... my father could not handle it, I am the 5th child down, and always, I have been appointed to be in charge... how much strength can a person have, adrenalin is powerful, can lift up tons when in need, where death becomes, weakness lies cold, but you learn fast, to move.... Daddy, lets go to lunch, ok, Mom, we will be back... elevator goes down, we never got back... well, let me say this, I am not angry because I know the place, the call, a real Doctor on call, it was not a surgeon who I had to answer, to stop the payments, take her off the line, brain dead, medicine makes the heart beat, lets go to lunch daddy, I am hungry, but not for the kind of lunch I am inviting you too...
Your poem is very much respected...
