The Dragons Dark Path

Contributed by Chronos on Saturday, 22nd October 2005 @ 06:46:20 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Into the darkness the dragon doth fly
Out of the shadows he howls his cry
Come, come, the time is now
You will survive, though I know not how
Time is short so we must not waste
Quickly, quickly, we must make haste
Grab your sword and grab your shield
Hurry, hurry, we've no time to yield
Grab your bow and grab your quiver
its pain and suffering we shall deliver
And so we charged from one fight to another
Slaying all, child and mother
Until one day, the light did shine
Caressing and warming this heart of mine

Out of the shadows the dragon doth fly
Never again to howl its cry
Lessons learned, a little to late
Its penance I pay to this very date.

Nice beginning. I liked where you were going with it. Remember they only corrected the spelling . I liked the words YOU wrote. Hope to see more .

dragons, demons, to all they are mearly shadows that stalk our minds, praying on those moments when we are afraid to step into the night, when we hide in the light.

exquisite writing that is your gift, be blessed for you are perfection.
