My world crashed around me today,
you chose him over me,
you went your own way.
My hearts slowly braking,
Into a million pieces,
this smile I'm faking.
The tears are pouring down my face,
Make-ups smudged,
I don't want to be in this place.
I'm feeling blue inside,
The sun is shining outside,
But all i want to do is hide.
I've lost my rock, my friend,
My soul and my life,
I just want my life to end.

...that hurts...
...an interesting thing that I learned...I'm fifty-four years old, and just recently figured this out...like physical pain, emotional pain is simply a signal that is telling you something is wrong...you touch a hot burner...PAIN!...something is wrong...your skin is melting and something needs to change...change the location of your hand...someone you Love, walks away...PAIN!...something is wrong...
We typically assume the other person walking away is the cause of the pain...it really isn't...A toally adjusted, emotionally secure person would watch the person walk away and consider themselves fortunate...the question is, and I have been trying to communicate this to my wife for some time now...the question is, 'Why do you feel this way when someone with poor judgement walks away?' It usually boils down to "Self-"image deficiencies. These can be traced all the way back to your first three years of life.
Somehow you need to go back and destroy whatever it is that is forcing you to think you are not an absolutely wonderful person, as capable as the next person, as able to deal with life as anyone else...this painful belief that you are not a worthwhile creature is the pain that is triggered when someone walks away. You cannot depend on others...period...sorry...it has to come from within...and if what you have within is painful "Self" doubts...that's what you will feel...
Life is such a struggle...so, so much is dumped on us in our infant years, our attachment years...
Hopefully I haven't annoyed you. The little bit I've read reveals to me that you are a tenderhearted, caring person...
I'll let you go...good luck...
blessings,
enigma...ron |
