Let Bygones Be Bygones

Contributed by ronald on Monday, 20th January 2003 @ 04:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

TITLE: BYGONES
GENRE: INSPIRATIONAL BALLAD/SOFT ROCK/POP
WRITTEN BY: RONALD TAI (©)

Verse 1:

I've got these pains from the past,
That's bottled up within my heart, and my soul,
They're hurtin' more everyday,
But now I'm tryin' to let go, that's my goal.

Pre-chorus:

'Cause I've been hearing, voices saying,
Let it go, just fly and glow,
Be free and feel the sun,
What's done will never come undone,
So, why don't I look ahead...

Chorus:

I'll let bygones be bygones,
Clearing up this mind of mine,
From the black, memories I had;
I'm gonna soar with wings of joy,
Rise above and I'll be fine,
And I know, all that's got me bad,
Are coming back, no more,
Never again they'll knock my door,
Oh, bygones are bygones...

Verse 2:

And there are guilts in my heart,
(Thrown at me just like a dart)
And they are bruising the very, part of me,
But then again what's the use,
(Keeping guilts my life I'll lose)
So now, I'm releasing all of these, for eternity,

Pre-chorus

Chorus

Instrumental

Raised chorus
