Eyes of the Dreamer...
Saw yesterday bleed crimson tears as you walked away, leaving a pile of broken dreams spilled on the floor
Ears of the Innocent Unknowing...
Heard the internal screams fade away while black tears washed the blood off the walls, as your footsteps echoed into the fame of borrowed dreams and recycled promises
Untouched hands of a faceless future...
Held time still and felt the child's utopia melt away as you ran cold fire to wash the blood on your hands
Mouths of desire's fallen song...
Said the forgotten prayers of innocent buried dreams as you claimed chastity with words the shook the ideal's world and shattered its core
Reason's hope felt the pain of yesterday's possibilities and heard his screams fade as his blood ran cold. And watched you murder tomorrow's promise and saw you wipe the blood from your face
Quiet the silence and calm these tears
Watched your crimes destroy perfection's ambition.Child-like hope still burns for optimism's revival...
In this dreamer's eyes
