Pumpkin, Pumpkin

Contributed by DreamPoetess on Wednesday, 19th October 2005 @ 06:10:42 PM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

"Pumpkin, Pumpkin, where are you?
You know I love you; yes, its’ true,
On the ground, or, out in the field
I need to know, how much you yield?"

"Are you in the store, or in the field?
Pumpkin, Pumpkin, last year I filled,
Many pies, from your kind
Pumpkin, Pumpkin, you are on my mind!"

"Yes, you know me, yes indeed
I planted you, my very seed,
Now I lost you, where are you?
Pumpkin, Pumpkin, you know its’ true!"

“If anyone finds my Pumpkin please
Try not to bother him, or tease,
He is my Pumpkin, I need to find
Or, I will go crazy, in my mind!”

"Oh, Ohh, Ohhh, Ohhhh!!!"

"Pumpkin, Pumpkin, where are you?
I need to know, the store or field, Boo!
Whisper to me, on this Halloween,
I’ll bake a pie, so you’ll be seen!"

"Oh, Pumpkin, Pumpkin, I love you so
The ovens hot, just so you know,
Are you hiding, my Pumpkin love?
Ok, I will see you again, above!"

"Oh Pumpkin, Pumpkin, its’ not your time
Perhaps you are a clown, or a mime
Whatever you are, you are not in sight,
I guess this year, I won’t see you tonight!"

"Oh, ohh, ohhh, ohhhh!!!"

"Pumpkin, Pumpkin don’t show your face!
Nor in color books, and, children do not trace,
His picture if you find him, all evil hunters out tonight,
Leave him alone, do not carve his face, it isn’t right!"

"So now, I, too, decided to leave him alone
Instead, I will eat cake, or chew on a pork chop bone,
I have my package, Pumpkin, I won't be blue
My little seed, I planted you!"

"No worries now, you can come out and play
No one will bother you, on this Halloween day!
You know I love you, you know its’ true,
I put out this message, and, no one will follow you!" :>

"Happy Halloween All!!!!, From Meagan!"

Well, this is absolutely darling. I love uniqueness and this is extremely unique. I don't think you will have a problem writing at all. You just need to introduce yourself in the forum and start commenting to others so they get acquainted with your name and they will start looking for your poetry. You are very talented.
