i use to dream of unlimited night
were the demons roared scaring the light
dancing by fire feeling the heat
unbridled rythem i danced to the beat
blood thirsty monsters and humans lived there
this is a place where there was no care
hiding from religion we all had our sins
this is a place where no one wins
we huddled in our cell and and speak of past life
all understanding the human strife
we gathered in fields and city streets
this was the way we relaxed our feet
if you think this is fantasy please think again
we all have a face when burried in sin
some are pure evil that kill for play
most are just thives that do all for pay
this was our path we didnt just chose
to live our life out on the loose
some our dead others in cells
some are working to better themselves
me i write to remember the days
that freedom was at cost so no one paid

Yes indeed- Freedom at a high cost.
Freedom is given to man by Almighty God to choose, God honors man by giving man option to choose and not to be a robot.
But wow if that freedom is misused!
Fine exposition of the great responsibility and the burden of freedom.
Thanks for sharing

Freedom cost much, but those who lost lives and such for it look on us and, i like to think, they feel even at such a heavy cost it was worth it, freedom is a horrable thing to lose. AWSOME write |
