you walk like you ____ dont stink
your the farthest thing from the missing link
having a crutch always taller then all
you pile your world with no worry of a fall
your suit is pressed you shoes so shine
eat all you food with a very fine wine
you walk out your office and stare in disgust
at all the poor on the street they can eat your dust
i can see it in your eyes im one you dispise
surrounded by your truth thats easier on the eyes
we poor are all scum we dont deserve to be treated fair
i know we should die so you can breath our air
we sleep on the street and darken your doors
you think we are dealers or simple street whores
some of us work we try to live normal lives
surrounded by people like you so full of lies
i hope one day you life falls threw
then see if some one will help you

Aww. I'm so sorry, lostrelic.

I feel really bad that there are still people living out on the street. I wish I could help, but some people say that a lot of the homeless people will spend the money that I give them on drugs.

Next time I think I'll just give them the food directly. Maybe that's all they want.

Anyway, the poem is really POWERFUL.
It seems to show what the homeless are really thinking.
I guess since you were homeless once, you could understand the street kid's predicament.

Wishing you and the 'street kids' all the best,
Cupid

this is heartbreaking. People dont always understand how easily it can happen to people to become homeless through no fault of their own. It sickens me that people with so much look down on those down trodden and down on their luck.
Blessing to you for I know your heart is full

Michelle
