The Blade

Contributed by xDizzyGirlx on Tuesday, 18th October 2005 @ 06:45:50 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

She Starves herself to rid herself of him
She says shes perfictly happy
Just being his friend
But she holds her breath with each embrace
Knowing she lied right to his face

She holds the knife to her small chest
Feeling her heart pound behind her small breasts
As the cold metal gazes her soft skin
Life seeping out from deep within
She screams out his name
But this time it doesn't sound the same

As the vision of his face is replaced
By the cold empty clasp
Of the blade that stole her breath

WOW! POWERFUL poem you've got here xDizzyGirlx!

I love the language, though your spelling needs a little work, I think. Unless it was a typo, which is more easily forgiven... ; )

Keep up the FAB work!
