Did you ever find you’d chunked a plunk,
But knew not from whence it came?
It didn’t really bother you,
But was a puzzlement all the same.
That William guy so long ago,
What made him shake a spear?
Had he held a lizard above his head,
Would Shakelizard have been as dear?
We sing in December The First No el.
But I think it’s the only one.
I never heard of a second No el.
And there’s an L in the mentioned song!
I never saw any corn or cob
That came close to resembling an ear.
So why do you suppose they call it that?
Is there anything else as queer?
Out in the final front ear,
Where the Enterprise crew is now,
Can they determine what the first ear is,
And if so I wonder how?
When ET said to Elliott,
It’s time that I phone home.
Suppose he had given him a rolling pin?
Would that have worked and do you care?
Nothing rhymed with Elliott,
So goodbye, I’m outta here!

Chunking a plunk refers to passing a kidney stone. Ouch! (:> |
