Mommy,
Promise me you wont cry,
when I tell you tonight,
is my last night.
Mommy,
Hold back the tears,
when I stand here and say good night,
for my last time.
Mommy,
Tell me you love me too,
and I want you to know,
that no one can replace you.
Mommy,
Please don't forget me,
and how you raised me to be,
the little girl that you can now see.
Mommy,
Always remember the times,
That we laughed and giggled,
not the ones when we cried.
Mommy,
I promise you that,
when I get to heaven,
I will put in some good words about you.
Mommy,
The last thing I want you to think,
Is that just because I'm only eight,
I cant see the love that you gave.
Mommy,
I know the truth,
That I was sent here,
to be an angel to you.
But Mommy,
The truth remains,
That angels are with you,
every single day.
So Mommy,
When you cry those little tears,
always remember,
i will be somewhere near.
