In The End

Contributed by Chronos on Monday, 17th October 2005 @ 07:31:23 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

If death lurks behind every loose brick,
If life can be ended by but a single slip,
Whats left for us, those such as I,
Only one thing is certain...Were all going to die

i thought this was good, you should try a longer poem next...perhaps you can elaborate on this poem with a four stanza poem by using the first three lines to begin the first three stanzas...and use the last line to end the last stanza...keep writing!!

Hey your not so bad lol, you don't need others to tell you if your writings good though, write what you want, you don't need to base things on others opinions. If you like it, is what matters. But great write, I enjoyed reading it, can't wait for more.

Short poems are always a great start. I do have to say, though, that this was a good start indeed. Just remember to try and write poems that aren't dark once in a while. Try writing something really happy next. Good luck!

First off, welcome to the site. i myself only became a member 2 months ago, and let me say that i love it here. i hope your experience will be as good as mine was.
Next, i would like to say that i like your little poem. very mysterious, as if holding a deeper meaning. one could only read, and re-read, hoping to find more peices to the intriguing puzzle.

exquisite writing that is your gift, be blessed, for you are perfection.

~Ash
