Like an oversized foetus,
I lie crumpled in a pile,
Among fragments of my past.
Eyes sunk to a sullen gaze,
Staring at memories,
Of when I was happy.
Tissue lies marked by a red,
That dulls.

I adore this.
I am utterly speechless.
And how I have been within similar dispositions...without existence...simply expiring.
I love the intermittent structure, the abstract nature, the haunting atmosphere...the fruitless emotions.
Thank you for sharing this inspiring piece. |
