I stare up at the sky
As I walk down this path
Wondering and thinking
Why do I walk alone?
This path I travel
Dark and secluded
No one can see or hear me
I stare down the path
I see a light
Close enough to notice
But almost unreachable in distance
I wonder if I'll get there someday
But till that question is answered
I will walk singly by myself
Shuffling my feet slowly
Because I am no longer in a rush

oh, great write, i loved this. and so many of us are single... isn't it just all part of life? lol. i hope that someday soon you find that light... and keep the attitude. you look for love, you'll never find love. if you don't look for love, love will find you. great write, keep up the good work!
