The homeless, the happless, the hopeless...
Labeled by society,
judgement passed over them
as we pass them by,
we seem to forget we are the ones that are unkind,
that simply look the other way,
aslong as our bills we can pay,
in vainess we'll look past them each day.
We say they have no manners,
yet we are blind to their pain.
We see them begging for food - holding banners,
and we deny to share the grain.
Aslong as our wheel turns,
the rest of the world burns,
our future develops from our present,
we simply ignore societies dent.
Something we seem to forget,
is that they are human too,
it could have been you -
but your prejustice leaves a mark
and the homeless, the hopeless still tread the dark...

So much truth to this.you hit it 100% on the head, and that is ppl for you. They see, having LOTS of money, can buy things........pfft.yes, it can, yet, what do YOU really have?! PPl dont think, how many ARE worse, than 90% of the world.! Thanks so much for this write.!

| Very well written. Although there are somtimes when I am unable to give to those who need it I try my best to do it when I can. We must have faith. Great write. |
