Reflection false

My swollen envy echo’s roars of beasts I hide in pathological ways
A grimace acts as palisade so far away, my distant mind.
A stranger to myself, and further strange to those who see reflection,
The cracks begin to show upon my face,
beneath which true one lies.
No longer now the jester for all to laugh amidst my antics false,
No stronger for the weak on which the heavy heart depended so.
As times shall slip beneath my feet, and water shall erode us all
So do I wait until, that I walk free, a clear, and smile once more.
