an understanding?

Contributed by absolutspin on Saturday, 15th October 2005 @ 04:45:08 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Tea leaves falling, brew me a cup
could i be so far away?
In the mirror the other me's play
just a trip back to sixteen
my tounge so different,
shock and amaze myself into solitude
You need solace? Got these arms here.
This mornings smiles, i know my eyes missed
and it's a shame i can't see past my current affliction
kept you up all night in my head
Beating heart in a dead chest
Do you see my reasoning? and i'd ask again
But tempers flare red roses thorns and prick your thumb to sleep
ignore my constant inspection, a heart in mend of a brutal contusion
beating my ribs to a splintered delusion
pounding blood to parts leaking spirit, could a soul be wrapped in clearer plastic
got those butterfly wings, plucked them off and listend together
they are the sound of our kind, vocal sex in ears throbbing wet
Should i point you in the direction, wrapped around and holding tight
Whisper it one more time
