Red silk runs and catches the light,
Her only friend for which she must fight,
And as nights gown falls,
She ventures into the darkness,
A pale spirit wonders the Earth,
Weighing up skill and worth,
For her feasts are few,
And always far apart,
And as the candles go out in the sky,
She ventures home and wonder’s why,
No creature is willing,
To sacrifice it’s juice,
For the hooded stranger,
Who is always in danger,
AS the silk blows away,
she will die that day.
