Frolic In The Moonlight

Contributed by Willofree on Saturday, 15th October 2005 @ 12:11:59 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

A full moon, with an eerie glow
Shadows cast
The fragrance of salt sea air
Sound of gentle surf rolling in
Water lapping at our feet
Alone together at last
Hand in hand, on the beach, we strolled
Side-glances and playful smiles
Emotion intensifying all the while
Playfully she pushed me
Subsequently, she took off running down the beach
Squealing with laughter as I approached
Sand so soft and warm under foot
As I caught her we tripped
And fell to the ground
Frolicking in the sand
Then on a dare we stripped
And into the surf we ran
So free we felt
Embracing each other lovingly
As we kissed and clung together
Spellbound, we stared up at the magnificent full moon
It felt as if the goddess of love was dropping by
Passion built and we sought a private spot
She whispered to me
"We're acting like a couple of kids"
We laughed and made love in the moonligiht

Isn't that the best? I sure hope this is based on a true story! If not, make it happen, everyone needs that experience at least once : )
This poem is playfully sensual, and visually captivating. The flow sweeps the reader along. Very good job Will.

How utterly inspiring will !!! This was wonderful. Sweet
and fun and just faintly naughty. And I agree with scorp...
I do hope this was inspired by an experience ; )

*Truly truly loved this!*

Though I'm only 30, I'm becoming aware that I'm getting OLD.

This poem reminds me that age is only a measure of time, not of anything else.
