I used to have depth. I used to be deeper than the deepest sea.
I had more layers than an Eskimo’s wardrobe, back when I was me.
Remember when I was so complex, back then even Einstein couldn’t figure me out.
I don’t really know where I went, but I know that I miss me.
I miss when I cared about anything and everything,
I had more determination than Lance in the Tour De France.
I was motivated, I had more pep than a cheerleader, back when I was me.
Back then, being me was like a full time party.
Now the sea is shallow and the eskimo’s sweating
Einstein’s dead and the tour has ended
The cheerleader’s depressed and now
Being me is about as fun as attending a funeral.

i can relate to that, we all feel like we have lost ourselves sometimes. i know i feel that way lately. but have faith that you arent gone, because you are you, and that never changes.
