In the Midst of a Summer Nights Dream

You stop to realize, when, and where. How and why. Where do I go from here? How do I get there? How did I get here? When you realize you are but within arms reach of something so admirable. You stand there, taking in deep breaths, realizing that your life just got so much better. You found the right thing, the object, person, animal, article of clothing that just, keeps you going. That one thing that keeps you breathing that steady rate, and without gasps. You take it into your arms whether its a hold, a squeeze, or just to feel the texture of it against your skin. And as you feel that texture, you smile because thats a part of you. Your dream consists of a person. Someone so great. Someone who if you are hurt or mad, sick or sad, they can be there and you will always be happy. From a soft kiss on the forehead, to the feeling of thier arm stretched across your chest. You take in a deep breath as you smile, and realize, you have everything your heart desires. As you look into thier eyes, you fall into a trance, one so beautiful, but yet so strong it pulls you in to an endless gaze. You watch the stars together making your wishes. You cook for each other and tell each other "sweet dreams" before either of you falls asleep. You talk to them when they are feeling down, you hold them when they are feeling sad. Even a small kiss on the forehead can mean so much. You trace your finger along thier stomach to relax their mood. You make silly faces or gestures to make them smile. And when you see that smile, you feel a flame burning inside of you because when they smile, it means so much to you. You tell them that you love them and wait for them to feel the butterflies as you know you feel them when they say it to you. You admire their body as if it were a work of art and not a nude photograph. Because that body appeals to you no matter how well it is dressed if its dressed at all. You admire every curve, every contour, and every part of thier body that makes them appear to you as who they are. You look through their eyes, seeing deep into thier personality and realize that they are the perfect one for you. You dream as you sleep at night with them in each dream at your secret spot, sitting together talking. When they wanna cry, cry with them and buy them roses, or make a card that lets them know you care. When they get angry, talk to them and try to calm them. If it will help, see if they wanna go kick a mailbox. When they feel lonely, go visit them and lay by thier side holding them in your arms. When they get bored, brighten their day with fun activities. When they need you the most, dont hesitate to be there for them for it could be the last day you will be together. When they dont think they look very good that day, assure them that they are beautiful in every way, shape, and form. And when they laugh with you, know that true love is there. When they hold you throughout the night, know that true love is there. When they buy you roses, know that true love is there, and when they give you that soft kiss goodnight, know that true love is there. But yet all of this is a dream, a dream of you. A dream of what will become of us. A happy dream that I never want to wake up from. But I have woken to realize theres alot more there. I love more than I thought, I care more than I thought, youre more beautiful inside and out than I had thought, and I will love you for as long as I can think, because as long as I'm alive, I will be thinking of you....
