oops

for me she takes it all away
inside my being she fades pain
touches my face and clearly states
that we'll do it together
crystalize each color in the air
solidify this current she sends
we are one in this flame
give me strength to play this game
my hands are here, outstretched
warmth plays on my fingertips
guiding me in darker places
you've been my light all along
they've preached to me
a different silver, dull and fading
but i found your protection in this
star, five points around my body
sound stage set, sea salt scattered
circled in this moment between us
didn't know you held me so close
writing lyrics of accomplishment
tasting future pieces, they are sweet
my goddess you've pulled me again
to my feet, the peace you bring me
like my eyes closed in death,
it's everlasting
