Mother of mine who gave me a fountain of love
you filled my heart with love each day
you only asked that my love was returned
and it always was, but in my own way.
Mother of mine, who brought me into this world
you gave me life, you gave me so much breath
you gave me more than I could ever have returned
you are still giving me life, even in your death.

This is good. I am reminded of my own mom who passed away last year. I like your poem and look at it as a reminder to those who still have their parents to love them as much as possible. |
