High Sea

As I gaze into the vast within
my darkness rises in a storm of sin
tears of sorrow shed the sky
falling down on frail faith in my minds eye
she tosses her head bowing not to the sea
for God as her captain is the king of me
lightning flashes teeth hidden in the murk
shining but a moment on a fear that lurks
what about tommorow, with this ill wind at our back?
holes spill despair as my faith begins to crack
but then up on the deck as I turn from stormy sea
for then I turn to Christ for in Him is victory
As a sailor on this ship and high sea
For us to succeed there must be no mutiny
Follow the lacing for behind lies the sun
He is true to His word, a mystery of love.

it's not bad, but the flow lags at times (it's a problem everyone has, but it is easily corrected....just a matter of finding the right sentence structure.)
anyway...good writing...bye... |
