Broken promises
Written lies
Twisted words

The life I lived with you was just a lie
What I needed from you
You never gave me

I am done with your twisted words
The lies you tell
And the broken promises
You never kept

You want me to forgive you
But I won't re-live you
I ain't the person I used to be

You are trying to guilt me for leaving you
Trying to push me into submission
You are trying to hold me back
This time I am not giving in

I am moving on from you
From the life that once was
Are You?

i so relate. i have to try and move on and although he may have never made those promises--i hurt the same. thank you for sharing.
