How do I know what I truly believe?
Does my life show it or do I deceive?
I say I believe in God up above,
Yet look at others for a source of love.
Your Word sits before me--I read it each day
Then as I leave, I often forget Your Way
Driving to work I seem bound by the time
The days seemed to be clogged with hours not mine
Do this for the company -- make money they say
My work time belongs to them --keep God put a way
Actually where I work is not that bad
But many places are and that's so sad
Even though I keep Your Word at the workplace--
Do I share Your comfort; put a smile on some face?
I need to share God's love cuz sadness abounds--
If you don't believe me -- better look around!
God, help me to share what I truly believe
Let my life shine Your love and never deceive
Let me point others to You up above
And show all people the true source of love.

God's word is true.
It is sometimes hard to go out in the world, trying to hang onto his word, and not to be swayed by others on the way..
So, we must constantly have His word written upon our hearts, to smile, to be kind to others no matter what... In that way, God will shine through us, regardless if we speak His name out loud.

This is just... amazing. I especially loved the last stanza. If more of us could just follow this path, the world would be so much brighter a place. Thank you for your inspiring words, and God bless.
