untitled 8

Contributed by weepingprophet on Tuesday, 11th October 2005 @ 09:18:30 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

hollow and recognize
muffled tears, restrained cries
who am i on the inside
what am i on the inside

divide what i say
from what i do
am i anything
worth anything to you?

a tender touch and revelation
keep the trust on elevation
until, lights out

incomplete and empty

until.....

divide what i say
from what i do
am i anything
worth anything to you

sickness unfolding in the midst
in the night
sickness unfolding
the tongue of the truth i bite
for our sworn love
elevating trust
revelation

i am nothing
i am worth nothing
to you

until....

i undress to pass the test
i'm good, you say
reassure
i'm the best

divide what you say
from what you do
who am i
why do i give me to you?

reassure, reaffirm
then realize
i am nothing
until....

the scrape and tear
the hold of the blade
the flesh and the care
of my own disdain
good-bye to you
good-bye
divide what i say
from what i do
i am everything
i am nothing
i am anything
but you

I AM
I AM NOTHING
NOTHING
I AM NOTHING

until......

I love the feeling expressed here. It flows great, almost sounds like a song to me. Very good write, I loved it. =)

Wow! I hope the person you wrote this to gets the point. It sounds like it was written to someone who takes you for granted and uses you for his / her own gain.
