Monica, Monica,
I would that it were clearer
I would that I could understand
Doth the praise that pours from your lips
Derive itself from respect
Or pity even
Or could it perhaps be
Something more meaningful to my heart
A feeling, rather than a sentiment
A feeling that would not go
Unrequited
But do not stand
Adorable beside me
And leave me unsure of thy intent
From your cryptic nature repent
And share with my your true desires
Were I to gaze a glimpse
At the thoughts pouring from your mind
All doubts would be left behind
An action I could take
A romantic gesture I could make
That I dare not offer uninvited
So share with me thy desire
Perhaps it may inspire
The birth of love entire
Buring passionately as fire
But let not our patience tire
Come share me thy desire
