Let us join in together in harmony

Contributed by Archie on Monday, 10th October 2005 @ 11:48:24 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Let us join in together
to sing our Lord''s praise
Let us pray
Let us pray

In goodness and grace
in triumph and defeat
at home or prison
in persecution
We pray in his name
the name of Jesus Christ
Let us join in together in harmony

Let us join in together
to sing our Lord''s praise
Let us sing
Let us sing

To the king of us all
to the Lord of all people
who has died for us
who has suffered for us
we pray in his name
the name of Jesus Christ
Let us join in together in harmony

Let us join in together
to sing our lord''s praise
Let us pray
Let us pray

In goodness and grace
in triumph or defeat

let us pray
let us pray
let us join in together in harmony

**********************************************************

"I hear God singing and rejoicing
and i love my father's song
I hear God singing and he's saying
everyone must sing along
Righteous singing scares the devil
so let's shout our anthems loud
a soldier's choir in holy concert
voices lifted faces bowed"

Excerpt from "I hear God singing to me" by Steven L Johnson

"Always rejoice in the Lord" says St. paul in the Epistle on the third Sunday of Advent.

You are so right, rejoyce! every day is a Wedding Feast. (I write about it in my own poem on the Wedding Feast of Cana.)
You are surely familiar with Sydney Carter's "Lord of the Dance"
There is not enough dance, nor enough singing and praising the Lord joyfully.
Thanks you for reminding us of it.
Great write.!
Elizabeth
