The Poodle Skirt

Contributed by jyssvw on Monday, 10th October 2005 @ 07:36:34 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Takin’ em to the cleaners
Doin’ it with this cocky demeanor
A slab of meat
The bottom of the pecking order
A person in need
Visually scanning the character stampede

Seated guests
Elbows and arms locked in a place of rest
A probation officer shows his neglect
The Elvis impersonator has entirely left
Lightin’ the load, the brain -washin’- effect

To rule the roost
Makin’ a fuss, about nothing too obtuse
Kickin’ and screamin’, the poodle skirt abused
The chicken coupe, locks left unglued

Holdin’ a breathe while its being done
Taking much pleasure from the aggregated sum
Brown acid enters the nifty equation
And all the funny smiles are down to just one

you vex and perplex ...

really quite amazing ...

so i just had to read everything on your account page
from the bottom up ...

which led me to think
what if i read some of your oblique stuff in the same way ... backwards ...
would i be equally entertained, if not wholly enlightened and inspired?

much to my surprise it actually worked ...

than by the traditional method of reading from the top down
reading it backwards from the bottom line up
The Poodle Skirt makes much more sense to me

a few others did too

Uh, yeah, what Archie said. :-)

Very well written so don't misunderstand...I like it. Just kinda afraid to put my foot forward with my guess to what it surely means.

You know...like the old saying "Better to appear a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt". lol

Take care and thanks for sharing,

Tim
:-)
