It’s all happening way too fast to feel this slow
Where is the time spent if I never get to see heaven?
What concerns me the most should hardly even count
It’s the spirit of things that stands to benefit from a union
If not when then now, its too soon to give in
The correct results are earned by pain and never just given
This is all happening way too hard to feel this soft
Where are the promises kept, and are they with in reason?

I'd take the guarantee option on this one. |

Wow. What a terribly jaded way to think! I truly hope you don't believe that. It's a loaded statement, and is only half true at best.
Anyway, I like this poem, even though it is very short. It seems like a heartfelt mindspill, and those should always be encouraged.

these questions have been pondered
probably since before the time of the sumerians
if not before the various gods were invented ...
i suppose each has to find the answers for themselves
whether they find it in scripture or in john lennon
either way the pain is involved
good writing
