Champagne lips I wanted to kiss,
What could ever come of this.
What if I didn’t hear the sound,
I think id visit the lost and found.
Always waiting then its gone,
Leaves the children a little scorn.
Always been where and what,
Never had what they’ve all got,
Felt the pebbles in a stream,
Or maybe it was juts a dream,
Once or twice its comes along,
a girl for which to write a song.
Lying in a lilac bed,
Thoughts I think I may have read,
Being quiet never loud,
Juts another in the crowd.
So many words left un-said,
Like black lace on tread.
Browned leaves in the wind,
Your deep gaze had me pinned.
Oh those champagne lips I wanted to kiss.
