In You

Topic: dedicatedpoems

Collapse
cold hard truth
where are you?

locked up, the muse
chest aching
heart breaking
all i have ever been

locked up, in you
the used
and the cold hard truth is
where are you?

relapse into belief
you've taken the best of me
and the truth remains
i'll be the same
the same tragic mess
the same hollow madness

locked up
abused
and the cold hard truth
is always
slapping, relapsing into
you and where
but here

i am the same
self-inflicted pain
i've always been
always will
remain
in you

and waiting

very edgy and extremely well written. I especially like
the last stanza... but the entire piece was great!

keep up the cold hard truth.
