In love I fall with others
in love I strive to live
In love I take contention
in love I do forgive
In love I hold my tongue
In love I must speak
If i will be a righteous man
In love I must keep
Love demands that I must go . . .
Love demands the words . . .
Love demands the works of love
Love demands to live . . .
Love, it is a silent voice
some don't want to hear
If we want to find the truth
true love will appear
Love, it is an obstacle
Love, it is a plight
Love overcomes unrightesness
Love, it lives in light
Love tells others it is hurt
yet love lives in love
love sets a true example

Some people know the essence of true love, and it would seem, you are indeed one of them. You tell it how it is, and should be, and the way you wrote this, really drives home the point. Very well done. I like this write alot, and the timing couldn't be better!

Love is just that, don't mess with it, if it aint broke, don't try to fix it.
Now then.. what is love.. if we just let love be love, we are the ones who tear it down, mentally, physically.. just go about your life.. love is there.. its just, we can change up our thinking.. we hurt ourselves...the true love lies in Jesus..that is all I am going to say for this..

Firelight dancing chasing the gloom

True love is happy ever after.

| Wow Archie! It's been awhile since I've read some of your stuff and I'm sorry about that but now I see what I've been missing. This was truly an incredibly write. You can envoke such emotion over the topic of love in this poem it makes me want to call up my love and tell her I love her in ways I haven't before. Great job man! I thank God for you Archie... =)
...and this is love... not that we loved Him, but that he loved us and gave His life for us. He did this so that He could be close to us. He did this so He could show Himself to us. He is the Way of Truth, Righteousness, and Life... the Way of Love. We love because He first loved us. And this is His command: that we love one another as He has loved us. And His command is not burdensome, for everyone who loves is born of Him and knows Him, and they overcome the world. Whoever does not love, does not know Him, for God is love. Who is it that overcomes the world? He who knows that Jesus is the Christ! Jesus said, if you hold onto my teachings, you are really my disciples. Then you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free. Behold, what manner of love the Father has lavished onto us, that we might be called children of God! Unless a man be born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven...
